The SS is so damn ugly I cannot understand who designed it. I wouldn't buy either but I guess I'd have to go with the SS, as it handles better and just is a better car. The Charger is a dinosaur on an old platform, at least the SS is built on a fairly advanced newer chassis.

Charger's only available with a 5-speed auto? What is this, 2005? Where's the 6-speed auto or a tremec 6060?

I'd take an SS as it looks less conspicuous than the Charger and probably drives better as well.

Does anyone else not like this "exposed front bumper beam" trend?

For god's sake, the Charger SRT.
If the SS wins, I am going to wreck something.

The SS just looks off. The VE Commodore(and by relation, the G8) is so much better looking than the VF.
That said, I'll take a Super Bee, even if the Zeta is a better platform than the LX.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Just tell the kids at the stop light it's a Malibu.

I though I read somewhere that the next gen is getting an 8 speed. I'm probably wrong

...check the website
the V6 has the 8 speed

Not the SRT8, which is what I'm referring to

V6 (at least for the Chrysler 300) stuff gets the 8-speed, V8 stuff is stuck with the 5-shit.
I don't know what genius at ChryCo. decided this, but there it is.
